Family service
Are you separating from your partner and have children together? Are you looking for answers to questions about setting up joint custody or how to continue to function as parents? Family Service is designed for parents of minor children and offers professional consultations (psycho-social-legal), family mediation and support groups for parents and children.
What should you know?
Children after separation or divorce need to continue to grow up with both parents, we will look for a way to set up your co-parenting.
Children are most harmed by conflict between parents - we look for ways to mitigate parental conflict and prevent negative effects on your child.
We focus primarily on working with parents, offering other support services for the whole family.
Both parents participate in the initial consultation.
We believe that your agreement is a better solution for your children than an authoritative court decision.
What do we offer you?
Support in dealing with joint childcare settings.
Help with practical issues relating to the care of your children together.
Help with working out a post-break-up care plan (working with a parenting plan).
Support in resolving conflict.
Help with dealing with financial issues (maintenance, SJM).
Help with entering into a court/out-of-court agreement on the child's circumstances.
We focus on solution-focused psycho-social counselling. We use mediation techniques when working with a parenting couple.
