Learning Disorders

Not all children learn at the same speed or in the same ways. Some have problems with reading, writing or maths. These children may need testing for learning disabilities to help them integrate into the classroom. Learning disabilities are brain disorders that affect how effectively learning takes place. In children, learning disabilities can manifest in normal areas, but can also appear as attention problems, decreased social skills, and altered motor function.

Living with a learning disability does not mean low intelligence. In fact, most people living with learning disabilities have average or above average intelligence. Diagnosis takes about 2 hours, and check-ups and consultations take up to about 50 minutes. After an appointment, the specialist will issue a report for a fee.

Testing and diagnosis

  • Testing and diagnosis of perceptual and motor impairments in school settings.

  • Special educational assessment with initial consultation.

Remediation

  • Remediation of specific learning disabilities by means of remedial exercises, which are very effective due to the neurodevelopmental principle.
