A respected specialist focusing on psychological counseling for parents of children and adolescents with educational and behavioral problems. He collaborates with the Department of Social and Legal Protection of Children (OSPOD) in Prague-West and works as a school psychologist. For over forty years, he has been dedicated to pedagogical-psychological practice and has worked at the Department of Psychology at the Faculty of Arts, Charles University, as a counselor. His professional interests include broader issues of applying psychology in education, individualized educational approaches for children, learning and behavioral disorders, school entry readiness, and counseling for parents.

He regularly publishes in educational journals and is the author of several books, including Psychology for Kindergarten Teachers, From the Experiences of a Child Psychologist, and Educational Little Things. In 2013, he published a book for parents and teachers titled Parenting Without Punishment, and in 2019 School for Children.
