Karolína graduated in single-subject psychology from Charles University. She has completed training in comprehensive crisis intervention as well as training in ACT. ACT stands for Acceptance and Commitment Therapy, a therapeutic approach focusing on acceptance and committed action. She currently works as a school psychologist at a grammar school, as a psychologist in a non-profit organization, and runs her own therapeutic practice. She primarily works with individuals in adolescence and, if needed, with those in early adulthood. In therapy, she focuses on understanding the causes of the problem while also aiming to provide concrete strategies that help clients achieve change. A partnership-based approach and respect for the individuality of the client are key for her in working with clients.
