Irena graduated in Social Pedagogy from the Faculty of Arts, Charles University in Prague. She later completed studies in Special Pedagogy with a focus on etopedy and is a graduate of the five-year systemic psychotherapy training Art of Therapy.

She has extensive experience working with clients both in private practice and for the past 15 years at a primary school, where she works with children and families facing challenging behavior or difficult life situations. For the last five years, she has worked in the position of social and special education teacher.
