Anna graduated in Nutrition Therapy from the Third Faculty of Medicine at Charles University in Prague. She then continued her studies in two follow-up programmes – the engineering field of Nutrition and Food at the Czech University of Life Sciences, and the Master’s programme Nutrition Therapist with a specialization in Adult and Child Nutrition at the First Faculty of Medicine, Charles University in Prague.
She currently works as a sports nutrition therapist for the women’s section of SK Slavia Prague, the youth division of FK Dukla Prague, and BK Havlíčkův Brod. She collaborates with the elite hockey academy EHTC Aleš Hybner and has also worked with the boys’ elite academy of AC Sparta Prague, where she served as a nutrition therapist for players in categories U14–U17 and was actively involved in educating parents and coaches. She has extensive experience in sports nutrition, having entered the field over four years ago during her bachelor’s studies.
She perceives sports nutrition as a tool for better performance, faster recovery, and injury prevention. It is an essential component without which training loses its significance, and it is a way to gain an advantage in several areas. Today, all athletes train, but only a few truly work on their nutrition. Yet they all share the same goal – to remain in the sports environment as long as possible, to perform at a high level, and to stay healthy. Her goal is to prepare young athletes in an engaging way for the transition into the world of adult sports, to help them navigate periods of rapid growth without injury, and to teach them what to put on their plate the day before a match, after a match, or during the off-season.
In addition to her sports nutrition practice, Anna has two years of clinical nutrition therapy experience, having worked in an outpatient clinic for nutritional therapy and sports medicine in Chotěboř. She has extensive experience in education – she lectures on sports nutrition in sports clubs across the country, has worked as a lecturer for the online webinars of the Institute of Modern Nutrition, and collaborated with Nestlé to improve corporate culture and employee eating habits, where she also worked as a Quality Assurance Trainee.
Her approach is based on education from medical faculties, complementary practice and internships, empathy, and open communication. The primary goal of working with clients is to build an open and safe environment, provide empathetic education, and offer systematic guidance toward set goals.
